If you know cycling then you know Rapha. For 10 years they've been producing the very best in cycling apparel and accessories for the most discerning two wheeled athletes around. Rapha has started to push out of its pigeon hole recently with books and shorts films and on July 17 they launched their new bi-annual magazine Mondial.
Despite what you might expect from the worlds premier Cycling brand, Mondial isn't a cycling magazine and thats what's so great about it. The inaugural issue features a myriad of very well written pieces across a wide spectrum of subjects from tailor Timothy Everest to the real KOMs - birds of prey. Rapha are on the big cog now and they've put everything into Mondial. As a result you can see them moving in exciting new directions. With this latest venture, Rapha opens up road cycling and examines what the sport can be. It brings a cycling viewpoint to wider cultural subjects and broadens the sport’s reference points.
"Anyone addicted to road cycling knows the sport is about much more than fitness and gear. For road riders, the sport lies at the heart of their identity and is the lens through which they view the world. The past decade has seen an explosion in cycling media, both online and in print. Rapha believes it is time for the sport to show renewed ambition. "

Mondial delivers 162 pages of mixed paper stocks, striking production values, high quality writing and stunning imagery. A small Rapha Cycling Club mini-mag is also included!
