Preview of the New Bianchi L'Eroica Bike

Prestigious Italian brand Bianchi just dropped a preview of their brand-new L’Eroica prototype.  Inspired by the Bianchi racing machines of the 1950’s and 1960’s, the new frame is made in Italy from Columbus Zona tubing and painted in the traditional Celeste Bianchi colour with chrome-plated parts and will be available soon.

To make it easier for anybody to find a bicycle to ride at Eroica Events where there is a strict requirement to use a pre 1987 bike, the bike is officially certified by L’Eroica as a proper vintage-style bike. It will be available in 7 frame sizes: 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 61, 63. The 10 speed gearing is signed by Campagnolo with a 13-29T cassette and a 48/36T crankset. The bike also features a Brooks leather saddle. Further details on the components and suggested retail price will be release soon by Bianchi and L’Eroica.

If you're not familiar with what a true vintage Bianchi looks like, here's one I saw at this year's Eroica Britannia:

A striking likeness, I think you'll agree. To find out more about L'Eroica or Bianchi please visit:
