The With Love Project Book

My good friends at the With Love Project have just launched a £9,000 Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the printing and production of their beautiful new hardbound book. With Love explorers the skills and craftsmanship of some of the UK’s most unique, traditional artists and makers through stunning photography and facsinating personal stories.

With Love was founded just over two years ago by art director Chris Roberts and photographer Rob Evans. Their search to find people who produce things with a passion and a purpose has taken them from the Outer Hebrides to the tip of Cornwall. During their epic journey they asked everyone they met the same question: Why do you do what you do?

The guys met nearly 40 inspiring individuals on their trip and they were humbled by their openness and enthused by their work and attitudes. They met traditional furniture makers, motorcycle manufacturers, wheelwrights and tailors, all keen to open their doors and share their way of life and what they're producing.

The project has been possible thanks to the help of GF Smith Papers who are committed to helping With Love create a beautiful limited edition hardback book that tells the stories of the people they've met. I can't think of many other projects that include a sign writer who’s worked for the Kings of Leon and a female blacksmith from Wiltshire, alongside a fair trade coffee roaster and a couple glass blowing their way into numerous national museums.

This promises to be a truly unique book, full of inspiring people, creating things with a passion and a purpose. If you've been following the guys on their site and across social media you'll be up to speed on the progress of the project, but the book is set to contain lots of exclusive and previously unseen interviews and photography which makes it essential for all fans of what the guys are doing.

There's some unbelievable rewards up for grabs made specially for the Kickstarter campaign by many of the amazing makers included in the project. or backers and I've already backed the project. If the guys don't reach their goal of £9000 then they don't get any funding at all and the book won't be made. But these are stories that need to be told about people that love what they do so head over to With Love Project now to find out more and visit the Kickstarter and back the book.
