Oliver Sweeney Leeds Relaunch Party

British shoemaker Oliver Sweeney has rapidly become somewhat of a legend in the Menswear arena. Now headed up by master cobbler Tim Cooper, their quirky designs and unrivalled attention to detail have catapulted the brand to well deserved global success. As the portfolio of Oliver Sweeney's standalone stores continues to grow, their Leeds store has recently undergone a total overhaul. I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the relaunch party last night.

Oliver Sweeney have been making impeccably designed high quality mens shoes for over 25 years now. Originally founded in 1989, their shoes featured an anatomical last that provided superior fit and comfort and delivered high quality bespoke shoe making techniques to a wider audience. Throughout the nineties and naughties the brand broke the shoe making mould and set the fashion world on fire with their unique designs and reputation for quality. By adding accessories and apparel to their range the brand now offers an all-in-one lifestyle choice for the discerning customer.

Situated in the stunning Victoria Arcade in the heart of Leeds, the store's new look is characteristically Sweeney and it carries a full range of shoes, accessories and clothing. Though smaller in size than other OS stores its scaled perfectly for the arcade and the attention to detail and innovative use of space are second to none as usual. The store has just started carrying OSxBilliam Denim and it was a great pleasure to catch up with Bill of Billiam to talk about his company and latest products.

It was a really enjoyable evening with great people in an amazing setting. True to form, Oliver Sweeney has done it again.

Thanks to Emma at OS for the invite and to all the team in Leeds for a great evening.
